In May 2014 Chase the Cure, formed Team NPC in collaboration with NPC Groups Friends of JP, I pedal for Chad & Pedaling to Perservere and rode in the University of Pennsylvania's First Annual Million Dollar Bike Ride for Rare Disease Research.
We helped raise $85,000 to fund more research and we hope YOU apply.
As a result of the Million Dollar Bike Ride, the Center for Orphan Disease Research and Therapy, CODRT, announces a Request for Applications (RFA) for a $50,000 a pilot grant and a one-year $35,000 postdoctoral fellowship for Niemann Pick Type C. Please feel free to share this information with all investigators interested in applying along with the attached information.

RFA Release Posted: August 4, 2014
Pre-application deadline: September 15, 2014, documents are to be uploaded no later than 5pm
Invitation to submit a Full-application by September 18, 2014
Full-application deadline: October 15, 2014 (by invitation only) documents are to be uploaded no later than 5pm
Anticipated start date: December 1, 2014
